Black Ginger is a herbaceous plant which belongs to the Zingiberaceae family and is scientifically famous as Kaempferia parviflora. It is famous for its use by different names in different parts of the world for e.g. it's name Krachai Dam in Thailand and in Japan it is commonly famous as 'Black Turmeric.

Black ginger originates from the rhizomes of  Kaempferia parviflora.L and is native to the  mountains of tropical Asia. Good quality black  ginger grows in climates of Southeast Asia's  specific areas. HappyLife product originated from  Thailand.
